AFE Momentum, Anyone using one?

I need to start by disclosing that I'm not a CAI advocate. But, I do like to see what's out there.

I haven't heard of anyone using one of these:

IMHO, it appears to be the same overall 'box' principle as the S + B / Volant with the exception of the location of the plug/availability of a snorkel.

The filter removal process looks interesting,,, Remove tube, then unscrew another clamp to remove the filter from the box.

Again,,, While I personally don't plan on getting a CAI, some folks like 'em, and this appears to be an option that hasn't been discussed much. Perhaps those with some exposure to this product would like to give others their input.

Look good, but why would you want to grab some hot air from under the hood?

It is kind of a 'unique' place to put a auxiliary inlet,,, It comes with a plug (like the S + B) if one wants to pull air only from the OEM port in the fender.

Dunno,,, Probably a 'Feel good/look good' type of thing, I guess?

I saw one those in an add a few days ago. Don't understand why a stage 2 would be fulling hot under hood air, seems counter productive.
It does look cool.

I like mine. No issues and it's an easy parking lot mod.

The OEM box simply lifts out,, I assume the AFE just drops right back in?
