Truckless...
Picked me up a AFE Stage II CAI a while ago, and just today got around to getting it and installing it and all I can say is WOW. My throttle response and turbo spool is much quicker and more responsive. The intake and tube are HUGE.

The coolest thing is the sound. It literally sounds like a fighter jet when the turbo spools up, I LOVE IT

I would definitely recommend it to anyone, and we all know who can get it for ya cheap, he sure gave me a deal!

AFE is known for the best air flow (CFM) in all filters on the market right now

aFe intake temperature sensor issue

It's great to find a thread that's talking about aFe because I have a problem with mine. The wiring for the temperature sensor didn't reach the tube so I had to extend it with butt splices (I hate those things). Now I have a check engine light and the code is P0113 for high voltage on the sensor. I know I introduced additional resistance with the splice but I don't understand how that resulted in higher voltage. Any ideas on making this light go away?

If you had to extend wires you have the wrong intake for your truck. AFE makes vehicle specific intakes
Never heard of this before

OK. I thought there might be a problem since the install wasn't as easy as advertised. I had to install a longer breather tube in addition to extending the sensor wire. I'm gonna wire nut the sensor together after I remove the extension. If that turns off the light then I'll plug the hole and hang the sensor off to the side. I'll post the results in case someone else made the same mistakes.

Hold on a tic

The check engine light is no longer lit and I didn't have to re-cut & splice. No error codes either. Perhaps the computer needed some time to interrogate the sensor and figure it out... I don't know. If it aint broke...
