I installed an aftermarket camera in my 2013 Ram with dynamic grid lines:
It seems to work well. I connected to the center pin on the trailer plug (reverse wire) for 12v so the leds would not run constantly. The RCA cable was a few feet short so, I had to make an extension cable. Also, the lead cables from the camera were not long enough to go through the tailgate so, the connection is inside the tailgate but I don't plan on removing the tailgate so, it won't be a problem for me. I may add a 4 pin connector plug just outside the tailgate in the future. I used Alfaobd to activate the camera option.
