Aftermarket bumpers for 1500

Hey guys, new to the forum. I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Express 4X4 quad cab with the 5.7. I’m in the process of lifting the truck and swapping wheels and tires. My next mod to the truck will probably be replacing the bumpers, mainly the front. It has the painted, plastic bumper and it’s obvious it won’t take much to destroy that thing if I have a mishap while doing some wheeling in the truck. Im not rich and on somewhat of a budget. I’d like to find something that’s not super heavy and opens up the fenders in front of the front tires for $500-$800. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

You want like a pre runner style? Or like a Prius destroying style? Luckily a lot of aftermarket bumpers are starting to incorporate things like steps in the corners on the rear bumper -
Go Rhino has some decent looking stuff, I haven’t looked in a while, but the possibilities are endless.

Not really pre-runner style, but something that gives a little more clearance in the front. Go Rhino has cool stuff, but they’re like $1,500.

Not sure if you are going to find something in your price range. Does the 500-800 include tax and shipping? If it does, than that will really decrease your options.

To give you an idea, my bumper cost 1,700 including tax and shipping.


The most bare bones bumper on the market I can find is by ADD. It is going for 1,099.

Stay away from the "body armor" brand. Looks good in pics but it's super thin and rattles when going over bumpy terrain

I looked into this to and Go Rhino is no doubt imo best, most fitting bumpers. Some other cheaper ones look WAY too bulky for a 1500. Again imo

stay away from iron cross bumpers as well, they look good but are flimsy
