Aftermarket CD player harness

All the local shops around here are telling me that I need to buy their harness and its 120$. They said if I used anything else like a cheaper one, it would screw up my computer. What do you guys think.

Do you have steering wheel controls? I have just the base model slt no steering controls etc and I used the 20$ harness and it works fine. Mines a 2011. Not sure if anything changed in the 12's

Hey White Beauty do you have a part number for that? Crutchfield isn't recommending anything but the PAC harness.
