Thank you everybody for all your posts!! Seems like AJT is a very popular choice and I've decided to get one myself (Black w/green anodized screws)! Can't wait for it!

How does the the AJT one feel compared to stock? I understand it's bigger, but is it heavier/lighter? Does it make the dial easier to turn/find? or do you think this is pretty much a purely cosmetic change?

Can you share a pic? This sounds like the scheme I'm looking for.

Makes sense I just spoke to them and they said they don’t make it like that.

You could find a local shop that can cerakote and get something similar. Hydrographics is another process that could be used.

Just a knob from electronics surplus store. Uses a set screw to secure against one the flats. The number plates is held to some foam and shoved in there.

Beauty if the whole thing is that i dont mistake it for any other knob. There is a tactile difference that becomes reflex. Also it requires a bit more effort since its small in diameter.
