can you post a pic of them in the lens? I don't understand how the Crees are not brighter.

That's just what I'm saying...I think functionally they are. And yes, I turned them around so they point straight out the lens now, instead of at the reflector. ^_^ And I know they're at slightly different angles, so it's possible to get them in the wrong sides; I have them in the correct sides.

They are bright, and they're much brighter than when I had them pointed backward, mistakenly believing they needed to be reflected.

The SuperBright ones are the ones I'm kinda disappointed with after putting 'em in. That many LEDs (obviously, much lower power than the big honkers in the CREEs), and they're just not that bright.

Just went to return the LED bulbs to Retro when I read their policy, they don't accept returns unless there's a mixup in the order or quality issue. Only exchanges (30 days) or store credit (7 days).

I was underwhelmed at first too, until it was pointed out that I had them in backwards.

Did you install them facing the reflector (wrong way) or directly back toward the lens (right way)?

Did you make sure they're both pointing straight back? They're not identical; there's definitely a left one and a right one, even though they're not marked s to which is which.

Either way, they're hella bright when installed correctly. They're not "40W pod mounted on the hitch" bright, but they're way brighter than stock. If that's not what you're getting, maybe open 'em up and double-check? I did, and I'm glad I did. :)

So, I'm about to make this purchase, but the page says they only fit the '09-'13 trucks. These will still work on the 2014's, right? I just want to make sure before I buy them.

Also here is the interior LED kit i'm running

Amazon.com: iJDMTOY Premium SMD LED Lights Interior Package Combo for 2009-2013 Dodge RAM 1500, Xenon White: Automotive

and I bought 2 sets of these one for my foot well led's in the front and then 1 set for the high mount bed light in the third brake light

So I finally did a side x side x side comparison tonight of the OEM, Retro Solutions, and Super Bright LEDs. Put one of each bulb in each reverse light and compared them to each other, not using the backup camera but instead standing behind my truck. I was wrong before. Retro Solutions is the brightest BY FAR. I'd say in order of most to least brightest I'd put Retro, OEM, Super Bright.

I figured so. Camera is crappy, low resolution.

Anyone have issues with their backup camera using LED reverse lights? My screen goes all snowy for about 20% of it. Like an 80's VHS tracking issue. Did not have this problem when I switched back to the OEM bulbs.

I have the cree side firing reverse LED bulbs with the OEM radio, no issues here. Sounds like yours are backfeeding somewhere

Finally got around to ordering the interior light kit. Got them in the mail yesterday. Hopefully I'll get a chance to install them in the next night or so. If I remember, I'll try and get some pictures of the install.

So, I did get the interior light kit installed. Pretty easy task for the most part. Those map lights are a bit of struggle with fat fingers.

I've gotta say, the dome light is not as bright as I'd thought it would be. I actually took it back out and put in a left over LED that I used on my Land Rover. Same size bulb/connection, but more LED's and brighter. It actually has 12 LED's instead of the 6. The map lights are decently bright. Good enough to keep. I do like the color difference compared to the stock bulbs.

I realized I have the floor/footwell lights also. Guess I'll have to switch those out now to match the rest of the interior. I do like that the interior lights match the courtesy lights on the mirrors now. I'll eventually switch out the cab lights on back and the license plate lights.
