Hi everyone. Just installed my 1000hd air bags, I won't have a chance to play around with pressure while towing yet. Just wondering what everyone runs at? My tounge weight is just under 1000 pounds. Also did anyone else notice a difference once they installed a sway bar.

mine shows max of 35psi.... dont have sway bar, only Load leveling hitch. It did help to get the rear up a little more.

My 1000HD say 5-50 psi. I have only drivin at 25psi with no load definitely notice a difference. I'm going camping in 2 days, first time with air springs and friction sway bar. I've always had a WDH.

You'll set the air bag pressure before setting the WDH. I have a set of axle to frame airbags that I'll put enough pressure in them to limit the squat to just under level. I use the WDH to get the front wheel well height back to the unloaded height and get the truck leveled. Sometimes I have to adjust the air bag pressure.

Thanks, I guess I'll just have to play around with it before I leave. This will be the longest pull I've done.

1000 lb. tongue weight? That is a lot of tongue weight for a 1500. What are you towing?
I'm definitely at my trucks limit. 31 foot Jayco, about 7800 loaded. My tongue weight was my best guess. I do know the 7800 is accurate.

1000 HDs are 10lbs min, 100 psi max.
Pulled a scale total of 17200 with my 2013 sport, at 65 lbs. bags

If you want the onboard compressor and remote unit, make me an offer:)

Also be proud of your Dodge because obviously you can't even take a load to the dump in a full size Chevy. Right now I'm looking at a bunch of 6 cootting to one side darling little pickups lol

Are they the the black ones? If so never less than 10psi, 100 max and you'll never need to get near that.....blue ones (red) are 50 psi max? If I remember and they haven't changed

I ran my 1000HD at 40 psi when towing a 8,000#+ toy hauler and 5 psi when empty
