Is it normal when you change tire size for the speed reading and speedo to quit working and go into 4wd? I changed the tire size and got my math wrong and it was fine just way off but when I did it again i dont think i waited long enough for it to take effect. Does that sound right? I changed it to what u hope is the correct mm for 37s and I'm eating dinner and letting it set. Hope all is good after i eat

That is definitely not normal. Revert back to your stock size and let the truck sleep for a little while. I had a similar issue back when I first started with being too anxious. Just set it back and walk away, lock it up and go have a drink or something inside. Let us know how it goes.

Are you sure you didn't make any other changes during this time?

Tire speed is fixed. Just needed to set a little longer. Read back and found a guy using 37s and found what MM they were. I used his numbers and I'm within a MPH now.

what mm did you use?

Anyone see a way to disable the front parking sensors?
(There's a bumper I'm interested in and it doesn't have provisions for sensors)

There might be others but this is what I could quickly find.

PTS Type and Display Location (Headliner or No Display Programmed/Instrument Cluster PTS Display/Auto PTS Display)

PTS Configuration (Rear/Front and Rear/Semi-automatic)

PTS Parktronics (Enable/Disable)

There might also be something in the CSMs but I was looking through the Windows version while not connected to my BCM.

2870mm for 37s check back to post #2269 I believe. I just used what he got and I'm .5 to 1mph off instead of 5 to 7

2870mm = 113in.
25.4mm per inch.
Edit: I see now that it’s looking for circumference.

Well I guess that settles it, I am going to have to use an AE tool like you did. My memory seat does not work as of now. I have "set" already using Alpha:
-Drivers Memory Mirrors Present
-Passenger Memory Mirrors Present
-Memory Seat Present
-Easy Exit CSM
-RKE Linked to Memory CSM

All of which leaves those 2 other settings. I would think that "Memory Seat Module" would be the key setting.....

PS Chamolie...I sent you a PM so as not to gum up this thread more..............
mjf6175 not sure if you have done this or not but check your drivers side yellow seat plug. Do you have a VT/YL wire in pin#2 and a VT/BR wire in pin#13? If you do that is the wiring that connects your Memory Seat Module to your CAN system. I didn't have the factory heated seat wiring so I installed a harness from M2mods. I later added the wiring from the #2 and#13 pin to the CAN. I turned on the memory seat module and the easy exit seat with the alpha tool and it now the easy exit seat works and I can connect to my memory seat module with the alpha Tool. I also ran the correct wiring to the door module from the drivers side seat plug and still could not get the actual memory seat function to work with the alpha OBD or the AE tool. This may not be the case for you but the first thing I would check is to see if pins#2 and#13 are pupulated on your drivers side yellow seat plug if you haven't already . If they are I would feel confident that the rest of the correct wiring is present. I have seen some cases were the memory function just won't work in certain trucks no matter what tool is used. That being said if you have the correct wiring and activated the memory seat module plus the easy exit seat with the alpha tool it should work as it has worked on other trucks including mine. You may try the AE tool but as many have said be careful with it and only turn on codes that have been verified ok. It can make a mess if you turn on the wrong codes.

Aren't the yellow connectors for airbag stuff? I didn't put a multimeter on those leads because u didn't want to risk popping something but that might be why I couldn't find a switched (run only) 12v under the drivers seat.

Pin# 7 and #8 in the drivers side yellow plug are both ignition on run power and are both Pnk/YL. Pin#1 is 12v fused constant power and is solid red. Pins# 3 LB/VT and #4 LG/Gy are for the seat thorax (airbag)

mjf6175 did your truck come from the factory with the correct wiring for the heated seats or did you install the heated seat harness?

Hey Rick.....my 2017 2500 Regular Cab came with the wiring, just bolted in the seats, plugged in the harnesses and made the bcm changes. My Ram originally had the deluxe cloth buckets which is 10 way power only on the driver's side, manual seat on passenger side. But the wiring was all there. I also had factory wiring in place for the ATC mod, just plugged in the temperature sensor and again made the bcm changes. The "no-need" to do wiring was repeated when I added the Smart Beam mirror, the stock one was an Auto Dim / Assist / 911. Just changed out the mirror. So far with the many changes I have made I have been lucky since I have an RC and as you mentioned awhile ago RC's have a chance to have more wiring than not. The only time I was "missing" a wire was when I added the backup camera. I used the harness from Mike Grimm from the tailgate to the connector behind the driver's wheel. That should have been it. But strangely I was missing ONE wire from that connector to the PDC (for power), and that is the only wire that my RC has been missing so far (yes I will jinx myself). So I am keeping my fingers crossed that wiring is there once again.

I have an AE enroute to me that I rented from Tracy on the Cummins forum. I need to set the setting for the "Memory Seat Module (MSM)" which is not the same as the setting "Memory Seat Present ". I have already "set" 5 settings for the memory function, the MSM setting will be the 6th. I will of course post up just what happens. Thanks for your help as well as Ghost_Ram.

Hello All
1st post......

I have a 2018 Ram 2500 Laramie, Diesel, 4wd, lifted 3” on 35’s. I have sent order for a security bypass cable. AlfaOBD will connect to my wife’s 2016 Ram 1500 ecodiesel with my WiFi adapter, so I should be good to go.
Both trucks have 35x12.50 Toyo tires.
I really HATE the TPMS system on the 2500. My tires need 55 lbs in rear, so the light stays on or I have to over pressure the tires. Can I set the light and warning to never come on and just scroll to the EVIC screen to look at actual pressure in the tires. Do I just put a really low value in?
I have the PIN and just want to get my ducks in a row before I set my tire size and Pressure
Thanks
Bryan

Sounds like you definitely have the wiring. I am not sure why the alpha tool didn't work to enable you easy exit seat but you never know. Good luck let us know how it goes and like I said be careful with the AE tool.

Thanks for this. I can read all the wiring diagrams and they said pnk/yellow were run only 12v but I assumed they would be in the grey plug. Thanks again.

Actually while I have you :) that lead goes back to a 25a fuse. Can it support seat heating pads for the rear seats? Mine are rated at 4a low, 7a high and I will have two. Not sure if I can just tap into that lead or if I should run directly to battery.

Thanks.

The only two ignition on run power wires that I know of going to the seats run to Pin#7 and pin#8 for both the trucks with and without rear heated seats. My truck is a Quad Cab so there is no rear heated seat option and I didn't research it much. I'm pretty sure that the rear heated seats run off of the same power source but haven't verified that. STecoD actually enabled his rear heated seats so he could verify whether or not I am correct.

If you still want to see the pressures in the EVIC you need to just set a low threshold. I think the lowest you can go is 28 psi?

Rick...I pasted below pictures of my yellow plug under the driver's seat. I took the pic way back before I did the addition of heated/ventilated seats. Can you tell from these?
