I have one that we can compare it to and I am in Pendleton.

I'm in Milton-Freewater so that's only about 30 miles. I don't get over that way very often but maybe we can make something work sometime after the holidays.

Might be the difference. I upgraded mine to projectors with retroshops harness.

I wondered if you might have done that sort of conversion. IF you have fogs, can you move the DRL location to them without noise? Or to the turn signals?

I’ve tried them all, fogs included and only the high beams have a hum. I use signals anyway so it doesn’t matter. I just thought it was odd as the high beams are the ones that have been brought up before as not working for some.

Yeah I though the hum was only on the projectors... I have quads and checked back when this was talked about a couple weeks ago and also did not have any hum using high beams as DRLS.

As others have mentioned - grab a cheap one from ebay or Amazon, or get one of the Amazon Fire devices - typically on a steep discount for BF deals.

It is a little different with my 2014. The aux switch CSM shows up in Alfa and I have it turned on but it does not show in either the EVIC or radio. I have done some searching and the aux switch programming in the EVIC/radio did not start until 2015. I can however go in to Alpa and find and change the settings for the switches in there.

Actually my 2016 is the same for Aux Switches - do not show up on EVIC/8.4 but can control via AlfaOBD. Which I'm fine with, I don't expect to need to change their config on the fly, just wanted to set them like I wanted when installing. Still it's odd why some work and some don't. Something to do with the "Corporate" tag that some have in the EVIC setup maybe?

Hello all! 2016 Ram 2500 SLT CC Cummins. First post...

Got the full version and MX and made some changes. TPMS adjustments worked!
I also put ‘14’ tow mirrors w/ puddles and blinkers (from non tow non blinker) on and changed the following over to present in the BCM:
Turn signals
Tow mirrors
Illuminated mirror approach
Puddle lamps

Everything else works...Puddle lamps still don’t work.

Tried to get in door module but it said I need cables. ‍♂️
I did all these things one at a time with me leaving truck after each time for 30+ minutes.
Been through the whole maze of settings and am at a loss on what to do next.
Anything I missed?
Thanks

Remember. It can take overnight or longer for the codes to take full effect.

I got the puddle lights working, but only after I also activated the below, in addition to Puddle Lamps Present setting:

Car configuration change: Ambient Lighting Present: ' NO ' -> '1 ' (YES) (EDIT - NOT NEEDED)

This one made them work:
Car configuration change: Mirror Approach Lights Present: ' NO ' -> '1 ' (YES)

I didn't realize I set both at the same time, so not sure if one of the two did it, or the combination of the two. I also changed from Rebel Splash To Limited, but that's EVIC display only.

I'll drop one of the above and see if I loose puddle to see if we can narrow it down.

@Erikk. Look at the post above. Did you activate the mirror approach setting?

With the MX, you won’t need any additional cables. I believe what you seen was the warning. If you click ok and then connect it will let you in.

This should be all you need for it to work, but as mentioned some take a while.

Thanks for the reply.
Yup. Listed in above all the bcm ‘present’ things I did. Have read every post on here with ‘puddle light‘ in post. I guess checking tomorrow is the only thing I haven’t done.

Here is what’s inside the door module. You can run tests on them in here.

I have all of my CSM and daytime running lights enabled and working great on my truck but stumbled across DRL dropout and wondered if anyone knew exactly what the dropout means? Also with Alpha OBD am I able to keep the brights and low beam on at the same time?

Just unlocked my doors via fob and puddles still not working.

Also, on the android version how do you close out of a module when you’re done? On my phone there is only the back arrow which takes me back to first screen. Is that normal?

Thanks
