Are we able to perform a manual regen with Alpha? If so, where's the option. Thank you.

Under the Engine module there is a "Stationary Desoot" function. Don't know anyone that has tried it yet though? Give it a shot and let us know.

It's actually for a friends truck. I'm deleted. But as long as he's willing, I'll gladly give it a shot. I will post the results. Thanks

Just read through this thread and haven’t noticed anyone that has tried the Police option under special vehicles. I’m curious if that will give us access to having control of our cluster lighting brightness with the dimmer when the headlights are off. As it is now the cluster is at max brightness and will blind you at night.

I’ve seen a few people post questions about the police options but no one ever answers. I’m curious about this setting as well. Wondering what it actually does. Anyone?

My '14 is set as follows if it helps:

Vehicle Config 5:
Ambient temperature sensor location: Not defined
CBC Configurable Inputs and Outputs:
Ambient Temperature Sensor Present: Not set

Just to follow up, putting it back to your recommendations worked. Thanks.

I have a feeling it is there because there are police issued Chargers and Challengers, and probably wont have any effect on the RAM.

There are police issued Rams too. I see them all the time here in Utah.

What does it do for those models? Someone mentioned wag-tag but that’s actually an aftermarket add-on that adds the external lights and ties into the stock lights.

I don't have personal experience with it but I would assume it could add menus for configuring lights, plugs, communication equipment, etc. Law enforcement vehicles have all sorts of things that normal vehicles don't, so it makes sense that the truck's computer would be equipped to be aware of and configure all those add-ons.

Yep....

If you follow the link to the trucks there is a few PDF's of the police options. Some "upfitter" type stuff so that is probably what the police option is for?

.
.

Thanks. Looking at the Upfitter Guide I’m guessing it activates the relays they have under the hood, in the dash, and truck bed for add-on equipment.

I was going through my logs and noticed that there is 2 different tire sizes listed and it doesn't appear when I changed tire size it took. When I changed it I put in 2776 mm just to see what would happen. I forgot to check my speedo against a GPS to confirm but driving yesterday didn't appear to have changed. So I changed it to 2751 mm which a 34.5 about what a 35 should measure.

As you can see it's saying that it's set at 2776. No when going into and looking at my logs you see this

7348c74ad2e97ec01168a14d1ead8344.jpg

Which is 33.1, stock tire size, along with this

Not sure if I'm missing something.

Dealer: parts dept to be specific

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This app cannot. There is another app out there that can (the name is somewhere in the last couple of weeks of posts here), it costs $15. But the dealer should give it to you for free. So unless you've got one of the brain dead dealers that refuses to give it out or getting to a dealer would cost you more than $15, the dealer is your best bet.

I had set the full on mine to 98% a week or so ago and I distinctly remember it making a difference in the gauge reading, but after seeing your post I went out and double checked. Sure enough, it was back to 91%. I set it to 98% again, shut it down for a bit and checked again. Back to 91% again. This is with the latest Android version and an MX dongle. Has anyone gotten the setting to stick?

Who ever figured out the led DRL settings deserves a huge thanks and a handy. I could not for the life of me get my whites to be drl and the Amber's were burning at full amperage which would have burned them out. I've had these boards since early 16 and today I finally got what I wanted. Thanks thanks thanks. d1aae5f87c66a9bed2c6a7b8cb4027e5.jpg

What you’ll need:

1. Drivers license
2. Registration

These prove you own the truck.

They will then give you a “Key Code Inquiry” printout with VIN, ignition code and PIN.

Also I seen a spot to change voltage to the lights. Can i up the voltage a bit to brighten the whites? They don't burn at full power even though they're set to drl
