I am using the OBD MX

In regards to what I changed I did change custom configs such as sport, limited, off road etc so I am confused how my county of choice changed to Sweden?

I think the trick is to figure out what is the correct package to choose for Rebel.

I see that Ghost_Ram is rifling through your config, but I wonder if you changed a “package” or “mode” somewhere that automatically changes a bunch of settings, and they can’t be fully reverted back unless that “package” is reverted. Hopefully he can find it for you without having your original configuration. Otherwise, you might be stuck needing a dealer re-flash.

Yes I did change the package at first to a Limited. There are two places in special packages one and two.

I am so mad at myself as I should know better than this.

Since you have a Rebel, I'm unsure but you have ECU Configuration 3: Antenna Type: Passive Primary and active secondary antenna. Mine is set to Antenna Type: Passive Primary and no secondary antenna.

Also, as jimmy stated you should have Destination set to United States of America. All of these settings must have gotten changed when you were fumbling around with some others that changed them.

Edit: Just checked a '15 and '18 Laramie and neither have secondary antenna set.

OK I have been back into the OBD MX and the AlphaOBD in my 2016 REBEL.

I have been able to set the special packages one to NO PACKAGE, reset Radio and Radio Frequencies now work.

Only thing I am missing is the XM. How is that added?

Also in regards to changing ECU Config 3 Country Destination form Sweden to United States of America it only asks for a value. When I type in something it says select system option and its value set?

The "special packages" have nothing to do with anything XM or country of destination. If that were the case then just about everyone who has used Alfa would have no XM and country wrong. Maybe accidental change of one of them or another setting which made the change for you.

By chance did you set the rear fog enable? Not sure if it would change your country of origin as I have never tried it because I don't have the hardware installed. Really just spit balling here at this point.

When using the app (without being connected), the ECU Config 3 country is just a text box...Im not sure if that changes when connected to the truck.

There is a VehConfig setting for country, and THAT one shows a dropdown list. But the country of destination is a regular text input (at least from what I see while not connected)

Like chrisbh17 said, I can type whatever I want into that box. Have you tapped on the box to bring up the keyboard?

Also check the Radio Apps Present and SDAR Travel Link Present settings, they seem to be right near the country code so maybe they were inadvertently changed too.

I’m positive they’re related.

What I have when connected. Never looked at it in ecuconfig 3, it is a value box.

Should be no more than one hour shop labor rate. Some have said half but mine charges by the hour.

I would personally wait if you can hold out until the developer can push an update and then select the proper country code. Did you try the one in VehConfig 1?

I know there are calling code but not sure if there is anything else or that applies to Alfa? It would be odd the Windows version has the selection drop menu but the Android version only value box.

Yes I did.

What is really weird if I reset the radio via engineering menu the radio will work until I restart the car.

I also noticed if I change the special packages 1 and 2 to say RAM 1500 the display in the instrument cluster will say 1500, I change it to off road and it says REBEL like it should but nothing impacts the radio it seems unless I go into the radio/uconnect settings.

I also have scoured all the settings and do not see what other setting/s would alter the radio setup.
