Unfortunately it asks for a blue and I cannot enter anything

I wonder if this is why my radio has no frequecy
I see that Ghost_Ram is rifling through your config, but I wonder if you changed a “package” or “mode” somewhere that automatically changes a bunch of settings, and they can’t be fully reverted back unless that “package” is reverted. Hopefully he can find it for you without having your original configuration. Otherwise, you might be stuck needing a dealer re-flash.

If you have the obd mx adapter you should be able to click OK on that prompt for the blue adapter.

If you don't have the obd MX device, you'll need to buy the adapter or the obd MX instead.

@Michael Dent You would need to either remember which package you selected and revert the changes. When making changes, quite a few time other settings will automatically be changed to suit the change selected by another setting. I have not personally seen any setting that will require a flash of the BCM unless you can't remember which ones changed.

Ideally, an original config would be very beneficial in getting you back to stock config. I don't currently have a '16 Rebel in the shared BCM configs but maybe someone will send me one.

Some additional information:

my ECU Confg 3 Country of destination is set to Sweden.

When I go into alphaOBD to change it asks me to enter a value?

That might explain a number of the problems. Europe uses different radio frequencies and a completely different satellite radio system.

My truck has the following in that area:

Vehicle Configuration set in the Body Computer:
Vehicle Config 1:
Model Year: 2014
Vehicle Line: DS
Country Code: USA
Left/Right Hand Drive: Left Hand Drive

@Michael Dent Little confused by something though. What are you trying to connect to when it is asking you for the blue adapter? If you were able to connect to the BCM before to make the changes, you shouldn't need the blue adapter to connect to the BCM again to change the country code back to USA.

I'm guessing he's trying to connect to the radio

I think it's a typo/autocorrect and the word "blue" should be "value"--As in it wants him to enter a value, but he is unable to enter anything.

Possibly.

@Michael Dent Can you list your steps on connecting to Alfa?

Brand: Dodge/Ram
Model: RAM1500 (DS/DX)
Function: Body Computer

Under ECUs:
Body Computer: MY2013-2017 PowerNet

Depending on Android vs Windows..
Connect then go to little car hood icon (Android) or active diagnostic (Windows) then drop down menu to car configuration change. Then look for...

VehConfig 1 - Country Code (verify it is set to USA)

ECUConfig 3 - Country of Destination (verify it is set to United States of America)

Thanks

Anyone enable Hill Descent Control (from the non-rebel/power wagon Offroad Package) to their 4x4? Is it as simple as selecting it in the BCM and swapping in the appropriate switch bank with the HDC button?

I haven't seen anyone try yet but I was wondering the same thing. I am going to be buying a 2500 soon and they are hard to find with the options I want plus the Off Road package which has the Hill Decent control.

I think there is more needed for it to work. I tried it but no luck. Picked up a switch bank that had the option when I did my Laramie seats but only get a message saying it's unavailable. Also live in VA and it's as flat as my ex-wife out here. Not sure if it needs a certain grade to work. 27a9d960b58dd10d96f8f30d6710cccb.jpg

So I stand corrected! I had the e-brake on [emoji2361]
It works. Can't adjust the speed though. 0.6 mph is a slow crawl lol 8b946160e8070e25f3d5eb329292a143.jpg

Flatter than my ex wife lol! I bet we would have to have a newer cluster in order for it to show on the EVIC since it wasn't an option on the earlier Rams. I know we have had other options that they can't display. Especially the 13 clusters.

I can swap a 14 cluster in real quick and see if it will come up. Pretty sure the one I'm running right now is out of a 15. My truck is a 2016 2500 6.7 if that makes any difference.

So confirmed it doesn't display on a 14 cluster. I'm positive the one I had in before was a 15. So I'd 15 up clusters should be good.

No idea. I believe It was only offered on the HD's from the factory but that doesn't mean much now!

I’m assuming this can be activated with no added hardware? Everything is there already?

Unfortunately my cluster is out of a 13. I have been thinking about getting a newer one. I know the front park assist won't show up on a 13.

Adding HDC works just by adding the switch and using Alfaobd on HDs at least. Awesome. Need confirmation it works on 1500's.
Thanks!
