Hopefully someone can answer this;
before i got the alfa, my cargo lights would stay on my ram when i was driving around.
I have bright red LEDs on the cargo, sorta like additional reverse parking/fog lights.

Now the cargo lights stay on only on park with the truck on.
If i have them on and put the truck on drive, they turn off.

Anyway to keep them on at all times?

When you say "Cargo Lights", are you referring to the ones in the third brake light housing? Those are not supposed to stay on while driving, you'll blind drivers behind you that way. By default they come on when the interior lights do (such as when you open the locks with the remote) and when you press the button below the headlight dial.

Yes I mean the 2 side leds by the 3rd Brake Light.
I have a full red led brake light from Spyder my old job, and with the button I was able to have them on all the time.
These junk lights are not bright enough to light the bed of the truck, let alone blind others.

I’m just trying to keep them on like before.
I think ever since I added the auto high beams or drl it doesn’t let them stay on anymore.

Hmm... Did you have any recalls done recently that flashed the BCM? That almost sounds like a firmware "safety" update. Mine is also a 2014 and I recall accidentally leaving them on when I first got the truck (thought it was the foglight switch). I haven't tried doing it deliberately but I did have a TSB fix done that flashed the BCM within the first month I had it. I have my DRLs turned on, but I do not have the Auto-High beams. I'll try and see if I can check on it tomorrow and see if they will still come on in Drive.

I installed tow mirrors on my 2018 Express, had no problem getting tow mirror set or the mirror turn signal set but I can’t seem to get the puddle lights to come on. The software says they’re set but they don’t work. Is there something else I have to set for them to work? What is global up and global down for? Thanks

Make sure it is the mirror approach lights that you are setting, as the puddle lamp setting is not the correct one.

So, to set the puddle light in the bottom of the mirror I set the mirror approach lights?

And if you turned the Puddle Light setting on, turn it back off, it will cause a trouble code to be stored in the door modules if it's on. Doesn't illuminate the CEL, but it's there if a dealer does a scan.

Thanks guys. Turned off puddle lights and set approach lights to ON. Now they work. I would have never thought that was correct

Yeah, I had both on for about a year and then last month I noticed the error codes and figured out what was going on with some help from the folks here.

Ok, which code do you set to turn on the 2 interior cargo bed that you install right inside the tailgate.
It’s under 2014 CBC I/O features- truck bed lighting feature. The alfa does not have the ability to enable the exterior switch that was introduced for the 2018s that come factory with the bed lights.

where do the box lights get wired into? is it a "flying lead" on the harness on the left frame rail?

Since yours is a 2014 (by your signature), you would use the wiring in the kit to run straight to the BCM per the instructions. 2018 trucks should already have the connectors under the bed at the frame.

If your truck is a 2014 as mentioned the bed lighting feature was not an option in that year. There is no code you can enable in the BCM that I am aware of to make it work and you will have non of the wiring present. If your truck is I believe 16 or newer you should be able to enable the code and add the wiring if you don't have it.

One of the last update brought back the ability to change the tire size in the vehconfig 4 which will change it in the logs. Previously I think it would just show the size of the stock tire. I haven't changed mine yet to match the size I programmed in.

Edit I'll have to add this step in my directions
