My 2007 Ram 2500 4x4 with 5.7 Hemi was experiencing severe front end shaking.
All new tie rod ends and ball joints installed, then aligned. The shaking is gone but when making a slight right or left hand turn, the truck does not return to driving straight, it seems like something has it locked into the turn.
The shop that installed the ball joints told me they used the steering action to push the bearing cartridge from the steering knuckle. Apparently common practice.
Not sure if that or improper alignment is causing the issue with the steering.
Any help would be appreciated.
