Got a picture of it? I don't remember any lines being anywhere near my headers on my 08. Did have to trim off a tab on the transmission to get them to fit, but no lines.

That is what the insulation is for that they include with the headers. Just wrap the line, and you are good to go.

I don't remember my tranny lines touching the headers, but I would just grab some extra insulation from the parts store to wrap it up if they are touching your headers.

162* is nothing. As long as you aren't getting up over 200*, you are good to go.

In your transmission the temp is 162? Id say you're fine. But I never remember having a tranny line close.

Sadly, I did. Haha. Loved that truck but it was time for something new (wanted 4x4 also). Thank you though! Yours is looking pretty similar! Just need some headlights and its a lifted version!

Especially with being in Texas, theres too many places I would like to go with a lift and 4x4, but couldn't as my truck then was a street truck. haha. And nice! Those are the headlights I started with until I got the cash for JJs.

I had 2 issues with my headers aside from trimming the passenger side ear on the trans.

First was the tab/ spacer for the alignment, it was digging into the passenger side header and made a grinding noise when turning.

second was the trans lines being a little close, my temps are fine and nothing is touching, just very close. haven't had any issues in the few years I've had them on.

I got a text from Greg a few minutes ago from the dragstrip. He dropped .7 seconds off his 1/4 mile time with the headers and efan. That is AWESOME!!
