ambient temperature sensor

I have to swap the motor out on my drivers side mirror. I bought a motor off ebay for 20 bux. where is the ambient temp sensor that I need to swap or replace etc? is it built into the motor? I wasnt aware of this when I bought the motor

Its on the front bottom part of the mirror you can't miss it.

That little bulb looking thing on the bottom front part of the black plastic housing. Has nothing to do with the motor then.
