Got my amp research powersteps yesterday so they will be going on this afternoon. Any tips from previous installs anyone might have? I will update with pictures and gotchas as they go on.

Read the instructions... When they say a torque value, they mean it. Might find a grade 8 bolt to replace the one they provide with the rivet nut tool. I sheared the bolt off in the first one I tried to install. Took me a couple days to find another one that I could replace it with. Other than the rivet nuts, everything is pretty straight forward. The only other thing I had trouble with was zip-tying the control module to the wiring harness where the wanted it. My gorilla hands did not exactly fit.

Your exactly right with the Controller, doesn't exactly fit in there like they say it should. Other than that however everything went just as expected, so far I am very impressed with how well everything fits and works flawlessly. Hopefully it will remain this way for a long time.

Awesome! I heard the wiring under the dash was pretty tight spot for the 2013 up. I put some on my '12 over almost 2 years ago and they have been flawless. Looks good man

Looks great man. I really want a set for my truck. So much cleaner with the steps retracted.

Install took maybe 3 hours. The wiring is not bad at all, I paid the extra $99 for the Plug and Play and its simple, only thing that is not plug and play is wiring up the LED's, simple butt splice connector and its done. You will need a Pop Riveter but other than that simple tools will get the job done.
