Amp pro

I have a 2013 laramie longhorn and I'm trying to amp my front speakers. I'm looking st getting the amp pro ch41 but wondering if I get the regular one or the r2 version. Thebr2 version comes with the ch01 harness included but it says 2014 and up and imctrying to figure outnwhay the difference is between the versions. Attached are links

The original ch41 was for amplified systems only but the r.2 is for both amplified and nonamplified (base 6 speaker system). I'd just get the r.2 not to mention if you could get an original, it's probably been sitting on the shelf for 3+ years since its been discontinued when the r.2 came out.
