I have the base 6 speaker set up and was wondering if the amp from one of the upgraded systems would be a plug and play swap, also, would it really make a difference if I did swap them out?

it wouldn't be a plug and play type of situation. Going aftermarket is your best bet...Kicker does make as much of a plug and play as you can get kit. you can check that out. I would just probably do it piece by piece though. Ive kept mine pretty basic at just a 5 channel sub speakers and dsp. the sky is the limit though.

alpine, pioneer, and kicker are typically my go to brands as pricing isn't bad and you get great product.

Yeah, I kinda figured that aftermarket would be the best answer. Thanks for the info!
