So, I recently followed the Rear Seat Flip Down DIY by RubberFrog and it is amazing! Now I want to put my mono amp in the back just like RubberFrog has it, but I don't know where to make the ground at?

Find a bolt. If it goes into the body you will be fine, or find some bare metal, look underneath the truck and make sure there's nothing important underneath and drill a hole, insert bolt through connector, attach bolt to other end. Just make sure that there is no paint so you get a good ground.

I've been doing some research on google and they said that the blot for the seats is fine... but I'm not too sure about that... :/

Paint isn't an issue either, I have a grinder and sand paper if needed...

Bolting to a seat bolt would be fine. It goes into the body and will be a fine ground. Thats where mine is grounded, its just the front seat.

I don't have any pics of it man, but I mean I literally took the bolt out, had a O connector on the end of the wire, fed the bolt through it and tightened it down.

i used the seat bolt. I just cleaned all the paint around the bolt hole and where the ground wire lug would be sitting to make the best connection. works perfect for me.

Hmmm... guess that I'll sand down where the bolt goes along with the washer... so I'll just the back bolt for my mono amp, and the front one for my 4 channel then... :D

Also quick question... should I use the 1/0 Ga Welders wire for my amps as well? If I have any left over that is? :D

bigger the better but I'd use wire more designed for audio equipment. there is a difference. Someone else can chime in and explain it better

The main difference is that one is flexible and the other is not so flexible... Well at least from what I've read that's what the difference is.

welders wire can sometimes be cheaper, but main reason people use for audio is welders cable usualy has more copper than audio wire unless you go with high grade audio which can cost up to 6 bucks a foot, more copper in the wire the better the current flows, doesnt matter much unless you do competition or pulling some serious power

Really? Well I did find out that it was pretty cheap at about $3 potter foot at a local welding shop... And I assume that welders $3 0 GA is a lot better than $3 0 GA audio wire?

it is better, but like i said doesnt make to much of difference unless running serious power, im running 4 class d 3000 watt amps and using audio wire, i paid i think 54 bucks shipped apiece, for 2 50 ft spools, but really its up to how much a person wants to spend in the end

what size amp are you using wattage wise? Do you really need something that big?

Well, I'm going to get the 1/0 GA Welders wire since I know that it's at least quality wire...

As for what I'm running, right now is around 850 Watts RMS running at 2 Ohms. I'm looking to get some new subs later and run em at 1500 Watts RMS at 1 Ohm. Oh and I'm also running some pioneer 4-channel amp that I'm looking to replace with something else...
