Have a 2018 Ram 2500 6.4L Laramie for about a year- has 20,000 miles on it. Around 15,000 miles (seemed like right after an oil change) it developed an issue in that intermittently it seems to have a lot of distortion (like a blown speaker sound or bass turned up way too high on a cheap stereo) that sounds like it is coming out of the speakers but there also seems to be a rumbling when the radio is muted. Doesn't seem to be speed related and if I turn the base on the EQ down to 0 it is still there. I have searched the forums and can't seem to find any posts of a similar issue and how to diagnose. Truck is bone stock except replacement tires and issue did not appear around the time the tires were mounted. Can anyone help?

TIA

I certainly understand why this would be concerning, @GB054. If you are interested in following up with me via private message to provide your VIN, I would be happy to see if there are any related TSBs for this concern!

My front passenger side speaker started doing something similar, almost like something was stuck in the voice coil. Replaced all my speakers and my issue was gone.
