So I have watched YouTube videos, got help from people and we still can not figure it out. 2014 Ram 2500 Cummins. The fan speed works fine all the time. But the temperature control and the blend door controller works SOMETIMES. I usually only works when first firing up the truck. After driving for abit or idling it will not work it stays on one setting. Now I feel like I’ve tried everything. Here is a list of things I have tried.
Replacing the entire control panel in the dash
Checking fuses and plugs underneath fuse box
Putting straight power to the accuators (they all spin)
Replaced all accuators for the fun of it
Tried a blend door reset. No lights flashed like description gives
Took it to a shop to delete all blend door codes
Moved all blend doors manually and they all move free and sound like they are opening and closing fine
I think that’s it, and I am still having the same issue, I am stumped I want to burn this thing. Can’t drive it in the cold or rain cause won’t go on windshield for fog
