Have a 2012 Laramie 4x4 with RC 2.5 level. Everything else stock. Currently running stock size tires on the chrome wheels. Looking to fill up the wheel wells and increase ride height with new tires. Plan on going with 275/65r20s. I want to go with the Mastercraft Courser CXTs. The only issue is the actual specs are larger than the listed size. 34.65" diameter / 11.5" width.

1. Any experience with this tire?

2. Can I run this tire with my current set up or will I need spacers? Really don't want anything wider that .25".

Want an aggressive look but don't go off road that often so I don't want to compromise the ride.

I don’t have any experience with mastercraft tires but they should fit just fine. If they were 12.5” wide you may need a 1/4” spacer. I’m running 35x11.50 with 0 offset wheels and don’t rub at all with bold set at 2.8

Im pretty sure I ran the 275/65/20 mastercraft AT on stock suspension on my stock laramie wheels so you should be fine with a 2.5 inch level.

Had Mastercraft Courser at one point on my previous truck. Was a good tire but didn't want quite as aggressive tread when they needed to be replaced. Looking at Mastercraft site, it appears the tread pattern may have been updated from what I had (it was a number of years ago). As I understand, Mastercraft and Cooper are the same company.

Thanks for the input. I think this tire is a fairly new one from Mastercraft. They are under the Cooper umbrella.

I looked in the wheel wells yesterday and it looks like I currently have about an inch clearance from the sway bar and back part of the fender at full lock left and right. I've also heard of it sitting pretty close to the control arm.

If this tire was a standard 275/65r20 I would not be concerned because the width would be the same. But being that this tire is slightly larger than that I'm wondering if it will rub. The stock chrome clads have a +19 offset I believe. I want to go as big as I can without making any more mods. I think this tire should actually be classified as 285/65r20 which is the real size I want to go with. But the selection is limited there and I like the price tag of this one better.
