I plan on doing my diffs soon. The Royal Purple site says you don't need to add additional friction modifier to their oil for limited slip/anti-spin diffs. Has anyone verified this through experience? Do you think adding the Mopar friction modifier could degrade the oil or cause any damage to the clutches?

I did do a couple searches and read through a number of threads without any real info on this. I don't always think "If some is good, more is better", so I wouldn't want to add extra if it's not needed.

You don't add any friction modifier to oils that have it already in the mix like the RP and Amsoil. Too much friction modifier is a bad thing, just like too little is.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I was hoping maybe someone could confirm the performance of thier lsd with Royal Purple though.
