For everyone running the retroshop hids, do you leave your lights on auto or do you have to manually have to turn them on. Reason I'm asking is cause I'm having a lot of trouble with my passenger side light not wanting to fire up. If I cycle on and off a couple times it will finally light up. Also does location of the relay and ballasts play a role in any of my issues?

I can't run mine on Auto. I have to tune my lights on,'let them warm up a bit and then turn on my fogs.
If I leave them on auto, one or the other won't come on. Sucks...

I was told when I got mine that it was better to not use Auto, so I don't...

The auto isn't that big of a deal. But I don't understand why wait for the fogs? Is there anything you can do or add that would make them work with the auto function?

I don't have the retroshop hid, and never had any issues with mine with the auto mode even with the entry light on my 2014 or even with my drl on my sierra 2011.

I have a can-bus ballast. No relay, or anything else, only a plug and play ballast and bulb

It's strange that some can and some can't run their lights on auto. I've been in contact with JJ and I have switched the ballasts and then the light went out on the drivers side. So he will send me a new ballast but I started using the switch to turn them on and so far it's been firing up every time. I'm stumped.
