If I were to change out my leaf and coil spring from the OEM 1/2 ton
to OEM 3/4 will it affect the height and ride of the truck?

Has any one done this before,If so pictures would be great thanks-

Yes, if the leaf spring eyelets will even fit in the shackles on a half ton, it will sit higher front and rear. There's over a 2" difference in stock ride height on both ends between a 1/2 and 3/4 ton with the same size tire. And it will probably ride like a brick. Coils in a 3/4 ton are a higher spring rate, the leaf spring pack in a 3/4 ton has several more leaves, which will cause a stiffer ride.

Just curious, what's your reasoning behind this swap?

You would need new wider axle perches and shackles / hangers for the rear.
3/4 tons have a fat leaf compared to the 1/2 tons (at least on the Gen IIs).

A 3/4 ton coil spring with a V6 is going to have an awful bouncy ride.
It's going to be WAAAY to stiff for that light little motor.

The 1500 leafs in an HD 4/1 (stock is 3/1 leaf count) will give 2" lift in the rear HD3145 is the Part Number, I paid $800 bucks for mine (also replaced rear shackles/bushing assy's). The 2500 leafs are a half inch wider and will not fit. I suppose you could do a 2 " level for the front. its nice to be able to sit like an HD Truck for sure.

yeah I didnt realize you were a V6, against my recommendations a customer of mine had me install some 3/4 ton front coils in his V6 QC to raise the front up. he made it 2 weeks before he paid me to take them back out. It rode like a brick and bounced everywhere.
