Is there any air ride specialists here that know how to speed up the air suspension on a 2019 ram rebel, I can’t stand how long it takes to raise and lower it, I’d like to at least double the speed, and I also can’t stand how it lowers/raises front and back separately, instead of it doing it at the same time, thanks

The only way to speed up the factory set up is to raise the system supply pressure before the control valves, chances are the compressor is not able to go much higher than it already does.
Disabled the factory set up and remove it all. Then install a custom air ride system.

You can’t. And as far as it only raising the back first, is so that you don’t blind anyone with the headlights by raising the front first. That’s just how they set it up.

But why does that bother you? It’s not like it takes thirty minutes to air up. Besides- you have the Rebel. Your off-road mode is only one step up from your normal ride height which is unlike the air ride trucks on the other models where we have to raise it once to get to where you are at, then have to do it again to get to your one and only raised setting.

Like crash said, you might be able to replace the factory system with an aftermarket one to get exactly what you want but again, why? If the speed in which it raises to just one mode and how it raises it is all you’re after just seems like a waist of money to start changing expensive parts. But it’s your truck, you set it up how you want. That’s the glory of the aftermarket.

It’s mainly when I park and want to step out of the vehicle, it takes to long to sit there and wait for it to lower and as soon as you open the door it stops anyways, it would be nice if it lowered faster at least

Well again, you have the Rebel...lol. Not dissing on it at all but your normal ride height is the same as my first off-road height so, if the Rebel goes all the way down to the bump-stops as the others do for entry/exit mode, you’ve got a lot farther to travel than the rest of us.

Just trying to help but is entry/exit mode really necessary for you? The only time I use it is when I have anyone who’s old and cant get around too well kinda like my mom. Other than that, I just rely on my side steps for gettin in and outta the truck. Plus its less wear and tear on the system, I think. Maybe I’m wrong, I dunno...lol

I guess the system could air down a little quicker than it does but remember, its a stock system- tiny compressor that doesn’t just bleed air[nitrogen] from the bags. Your compressor is virtually just a transfer pump that allows it to be an air-tight system by basically transferring the gas from the storage tanks to the bags, and vice versa. That, and its preset speed is probably for safety and less wear and tear on the system. They’re probably just trying to minimize warranty claims within that first 3 years/36,000 miles. Lol.
