Anybody here plastidipped their Chrome!?

hey guys! Has anybody here plastidipped all their chrome and badges black?? If so please post some pics so I could see what it looks like!! Preferably on a grey truck but anything helps! Thanks guys!

Well I have a grey truck with plasti dip but not the badges and crome lol I did my bed stripe and hood stripes. I know that's not what you wanted but if you want pics I'll post em. But like he said they're lots on here who has done it.

Thanks. I think I did around a can for each side of the bed and on the hood I think just a can for both sides. Wish I did more on the front because it's starting to peel lol

I have the greg color and not silver. Havent done the chrome bumpers but did the badges, some of the rims, and a little more too!. If you want i can take a couple more pics. Kinda hard at 430 am lol

Dipped badges, it's been on there about 10 months and I have not had to do any touchups at all.

Ya I'm definitely going to have to do that now. How do you take them off? Do they have adhesive on them?

Not a Ram but had my (all chrome trims) front inner valance bumper, tips, rear emblem and side molding dipped and currently holding up great (live on 4 miles of unpaved dirt roads).


the SRT Insignia is also dipped.

Im going to assume the emblems.

Just tape off around them. It peels off your paint real easy
