I bought a Rough Country for my truck when it was brand new. 10 years later, it's still working great with no leaks.

I have a Tyger tri- fold that has been a good cover for the price, lets a little water in when washing, I try to avoid spraying directly at the seams.
At some point I plan on getting one that sits flatter & I don’t have to remove for snow, depending on the amount/weight it can stretch the vinyl.

Are you talking about a canopy or a tonneau?

I got a Softopper brand canopy and it's OK, not great.

The list of "pro" is obvious, like whatever reason you're interested in a topper.. keep stuff dry, keep eyes off your stuff, able to put stuff back there without worrying about securing it against wind etc.

There are cons too..
Zero ventilation if you wanted to sleep or carry animals back there.
Front panel flaps around loudly unless you drill holes in your bed to install snaps to retain it. There's velcro you can use but velcro doesn't stick to bedliner.
Can't handle much snow load (even while parked overnight) so if you get a lot of snow you need to rake it off every day.
No visibility out the sides, maybe not a big deal if you have a quad cab. I have a reg cab and it's like driving a panel van when I have the sides down.
Vinyl windows at the front and back means there's a lot of distortion to anything seen out the rear view mirror.

Also if you're going to roll up the sides and rear window it's a good idea to roll them inward instead of rolling toward the outside, that way when it rains the water doesn't get into the rolls and start growing algae or mold or anything.

In running the agricover outlander on my truck. It's similar to the softopper mentioned above, but has side windows so you have more visibility out the rear sides. I've had it for 2 solid years now, and don't regret it one bit. Much prefer it over a standard tonneau cover. I do wish the sides were a bit tighter, I've adjusted them about as much as I can without distorting things, but I think it has to do with the vinyl window panels more than anything. Removing panels isn't too bad. Trying to get the zippers lined back up can be a pain (just the position of them hidden behind panel covers that try to minimize water intrusion). I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
