They say plug and play and the housing is aluminum....they actually shipped today I just got my tracking number.

Only the “finned housing” with the LED is aluminum the outer shell and mtg bracket is all plastic

First time I saw morimoto fogs,to much plastic or whatever showing where glass was.Looks like a hole in a sheet of plastic. No offense meant to morimoto or anyone that has them, personal opinion shared.

Yes they are Trulux black, they look bright to me and have a good pattern with hotspot.

That"s just fog lights? wow.I have hids in my low beams with tyc projectors and I think the light out of them is brutal, mind you my ram is a 2015 with the resisters etc.I just got the alfaobd and changed changed certain settings to hid in lights etc,had a really bad headlight flicker, lights would get a lot brighter with the flicker so I'm hoping now they will be of the brighter side.Haven't driven truck yet since change and that was a week ago.Have F150 work truck, home late and couldn't be arsed lol.Driving on a twisty road at night in rain I might as well be driving with one eye closed,by the way I'm sipping on tequila lol.Hoping these fog lights will help as I'm leaning towards the new XB headlights as a fix.

Welp looks like I’ll never get around to retrofitting my fog lights w/ matchbox projectors these look much more promising.

Rained like hell all weekend, but here’s a couple night pics from the neighborhood. The lights throw light forward and to the sides. I assume the center curved lense throws light forward and the small bottom section throws to the sides.

How do you like the output compared to the morimotos?

I originally had just a LED bulb in the OEM chrome housing. When the Morimoto verticals came out I got them since they matched my “white/black” theme. The Morimoto’s didn’t put out much light but to me they looked good so I kept them.

Yes the Trulux lights do seem brighter than the Morimoto’s.

Cool thanks for the feedback. I did the morimotos for the look too and after spending that much on them, I kept them even though I thought the output was disappointing. I may have to get these so I get a different look and usable output.

Damn @JB1, those look clean. If I didn’t just install the pods and brackets from Sidetracked Offroad I would be all over these.
