anyone rebuild the dynatrac ball joints?

So 5 years and 30,000 miles ago I installed the Dynatrac balljoints, hoping that it would be the last time that I would have to do that job. But I just failed state inspection, for the lower ball joints and U joints.

I see that there is a rebuild kit, but the install looks like a pain in the ass, it might be worth spending the money for new balljoints.

I just wanted to see if anyone has done the rebuild and if it was a pain.
