I'm guessing it's a wiring issue.
Definitely a possibility. The supplied t-taps would be suspect, too (if that’s what he used to tap the wires), seeing as one side “seemed” to work until he was driving to work.

I
Wondered myself about the t-taps. I think I’ll look for some better connectors after work. I’ll take a picture of all the wiring too. Maybe y’all can spot something.

So here’s the wiring with the resistors. I’m starting to wonder if I put the resistors on the wrong harness.

Instead of T-taps, use something like this:

https://www.posi-products.com/positite.html

Greatest thing since sliced bread, IMHO. They have inline and wire-nut type connectors too but the posi-tite ones are weatherproof (what i would use for anything not in the interior of a vehicle)

So I’m thinking the resistor needs to go on the harness on the left

Solder and shrink wrap is always the preferred method...very easy to do and gladly will walk you through it if you aren't familiar with the process...

Did you only use 1 resistor?

Correct me if I'm wrong @Jimmy07 but he should have 1 for turn and 1 for parking lights

Probably if it’s giving him problems. I’m not sure if he is with the parking lights, but I did when I would use the turn signals with the headlights on.

As stated, right harness but you would need do both the turn and running light circuits. Those style wire taps can be flakey, better to solder and heat shrink/liquid electrical tape them.

I'm thinking that's the problem. I had the same issue when I installed switchbacks. I only set turns to led's and would only get a parking out message when my headlights where on.

Quick question is there a easier way to adjust these than pulling them out. Tonight is the first night I've actually been able to see them at night and my passenger side is way high. I just pulled it out to adjust it but it's snowing and didn't feel like pulling it in and out to get it a 100% right. It's still pretty high

It can get adjusted though the same fender hole as the factory lights. You’ll be engaging the sprocket on top with a Phillips head. I found it easiest to use a #3 Phillips.

I tried but couldn't seem to have enough room.

Edit sorry though you meant through the wheel liner. I looked through the same whole but, I see what you are saying. Just try and move the gear itself

I hate to be that guy but can you literally take my picture and draw on it where I need to put what. I think l have an idea, but at this point I’m lost.

You adjust it from under hood, there is hole on side above lights. No need to remove the lights to adjust. Put a Phillips in hole where you can see the adjuster and turn until you see lights move, is quick and easy, nothing to remove.

You'll just have to put one on the black wire and to ground. Black will be the parking light on that harness. If you are only really having issues with the parking lights than this could work. Alphaobd is still your best option

It's not adjusted through fender hole, open hood and you will see holes with arrows, one of them is for headlight, stick Phillips screwdriver in hole that has adjuster and turn slow, eventually you will see movement. Here is a diagram showing where hole is to adjust
