Audio Upgrade, Subs and Aftermarket amp.

Was wondering if anyone could help me out, I plan on installing 2 subs and an aftermarket amp on 2014 ram 2500 with the uconnect 5.0 and 6 speakers. I also want to keep the factory headunit and using a loc, what wires do I splice and is it a good idea?

I'd tap both rear speakers and run them into your loc. Should work fine.

If you are installing only subs tap only the rear speakers outputs, this was you have fade control over the bass, if you dont have remote knob.

What box, speakers, amp, and so on will you be using. I might be a decent source of help.
