I have a 2019 Ram 2500 Big Horn 6.4L Hemi bought the truck yesterday and this morning I go outside and set all my stuff up on the interior of the truck and come to find out all of the ports are shorting out every five seconds, I checked the fuses and none of the fuses where loose.

Nope I used the can of air and sprayed all ports and made sure that nothing was inside any or the ports

Hmm Odd. Something may be melted in the wiring connectors on the back of the unit. Does it have aftermarket amps or anything? I pull power off my aux ports to turn on my amps.

That's really screwey. Do you have a multi meter?

Oh ok. I was going to see if you could ohm Out the sockets with the power disconnected and see if there is a short in one

Doing what it is doing may have set off a Code that a scan tool might pick up
Drive to a auto parts store like Autozone & ask them if they would use a scan tool to check it out for you.
If there is a code, write the numbers down

I always forget about that! Good call. If they can access the bcm the code would likely be stored in there.

Did you buy it from a dealer or private party? If a dealer why not return it and tell them to fix it?

If you had a real "short" happening it would be blowing a fuse. This is most likely a problem with what ever controls the power to them (maybe the BCM/TIPM?)

When you say "shorting out", do you mean a direct short to Ground? That would most assuredly cause a fuse to blow. A multi meter would read "open" and show infinite ohms.
Is this what you're seeing?
