Had to install new cv axle on passenger side, new circlip, slid on and locked. Torqued everything down and drives fine. It’s a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman quad cab w/5.7 hemi. After looking at clearance from end of axle on passenger side and comparing to drivers side, driver side looks like it’s closer than passenger side in relation to the space from differential. Both shafts feel locked into place.

It's probly just the stub shafts. If it's locked in and feels fine I wouldn't worry at all.

Thanks Brandon, don't mean to be "paranoid" lol. If someone could actually look at their axles to see if passenger side is out further I'd feel much better!

Just curious, you did it yourself? If so that should have been a warranty issue.

So that’s like mine. It’s further away on passenger side and right up almost to seal on driver side. Man thanks for that, I guess I could have peered under someone’s truck parked here but you know how it is now days!

Long story but due to error installing leveling kit by someone I don’t trust anymore they not only pinched boot but also screwed up tripod bearing so I had to buy and install another axle. The new axle is made better than OEM so I might order another for drivers side. It weighs more and boots are way thicker!

He’s got another thread. Someone installed a leveling kit for him and busted up one of the bearings on the cv
