The 06-08 rear emblems arnt much bigger than the grille emblem, which is prbly twice the size of the 02-05

It's gonna be warm a couple days this week. Got a roll of 35% tint tonight. Gonna try that first. Worried about the nightshades somebody said on here before it looks purple if it's not done right. And the tint was 5 bones, the nightshades was 12 lol.

well i played around with the tint film idea for a couple days and decided it wasn't going to work the way i wanted it to. so when i went to pick up my new e fan relay i grabbed a can of nighshades. it looks almost black when not lit up but this is what it looks like lit. not sure how i like it. thinking that the led board isn't big enough. it's about 2 inches from the emblem in the pick and it's not spread the way i want it to be. what do you think?

you just pull it at the bottom and some clips will pop and thats it.

I think if you sand the plexi it will distribute the light better. Sanding the LEDs will prevent hot spotting also

haha, your good man. i went at mine with a drill. there are two push throughs that i couldn't get to pop out. i was afraid i was gonna break it. so i drilled them out and then did the fishing line trick behind it. might come off if you warm it up too. it was january when i was messing with mine so it was cold as a witches tit in my garage.

i agree that the light needs to be spread better. do you have some scrap plexi? try sanding that and see if it helps.
