2002 ram 1500 4.7l vin N. Replaced engine with 03 4.7l vin N crank no start unless I unplug cam pos sensor. Replaced cam and crank sensor. I was told the injectors came off of a newer jeep but was assured it was running. If I unplug the cam pos sensor it will eventually start but I have to hold wot or itll die if I plug cam sensor back in itll die. What am I missing compression is 140 to 150 in all cylinders.

The JTEC PCM's from 1999-2002(3-plug PCM) all use a 16-tooth tone ring.

The NGC PCM's from 2003-2008 (4-PLUG PCM) use a 32-tooth tone ring.

Well thats about where I was on my thinking I have a 3 plug pcm and have installed a 32t engine from an 03. Guess I'm on the hunt for new crank ring and cam gear.

You do know you have to pull the crank to do that, right....? Do you still have the old engine?
