Was the wiring long enough to make it to the head unit or did you have to add extensions?

Had to add wire. No big deal. Not sure if it would work with lock pick. I have aftermarket radio. Easy install.

I guess the handle location is fine if all you want to see is your hitch and the ground immediately beneath it.:roflsquared:

How did you run your wire? Where does it come out of the tailgate to make the run to the front? Where did you bring the wire into the cab? Where did you tap into your reverse lights? Sorry for all the question, I'll be doing the install next week when all the parts get here. A DIY post for this would be great if you have the time.

Amazon has a bunch of cams. Be sure to read the reviews though. I picked up one for $28.

I got mine for $30. I ran the wires along the frame and under the back seat and under the driver side sills to the radio.

I have the power to it tied into the switched red wire on the radio. So I can hit camera on the radio and see behind me going forward.

I'll have to find where to run the wire into the cab from the back seats. Is there a hole to run the wire?

Looks very good. I like your clean look better than my license plate camera. Did you drill the hole in the handle, or buy the handle with the cutout already?
