Backup camera problem with shadows

I have a 2020 Ram 1500 Classic with 8.4 Uconnect. The backup camera is really awesome in bright sunlight. If I back into a shadow, the trailer hitch "disappears" .....had you experienced this? I am wondering if the screen has adjustments?? Or the camera?? Perhaps add some lighting that might come on if the pickup was in reverse ???

I've added the "XTR LP" reverse light to my truck... Install was maybe 20mins. Works great...
