Bad tachometer

All gauges work except tachometer. Any clue to what the problem is?

Just got a 06 1500 5.7 hemi quad cab. Has 120,000 miles on it. Everything seems great, besides a non working tachometer. Any clue what the problem could be?

Common problem. Youtube dodge ram tach fix. Just gotta pull it apart and resolder the connections

Another option is to send it to Circuit Board Medics for $150 and have them repair it.

Do they send the missing spacers to keep the inst cluster from breaking the solder joint in the future?
