Has anyone on the forum had any battery issues?? I just replaced the battery in my 2012 2500 and I'm being told that I should change the plugs for some reason. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

How many kms on the plugs now?

I had to replace my battery. I think my air compressor killed it too many times. Wouldn't hold a charge for more than a day at the end.

Do you have any extra accessories on your truck? Or did your battery happen to freeze? That's what happened to my stock battery after 3 years.

As for plugs, they call for replacement after 30k miles in the service manual. Although many hold off for longer.

Yeah I had an air compressor that would run continuously when it got to -20 C or colder. The first year I had to it hooked directly to the battery. I eventually hooked it to a switch but it was too late. I also drained it a few times while working on my lights. I had heavy power draw for my lights. Full HIDs 55w and a 55" LED light bar.
