Are any members with 2019 Ram 1500 having battery issues. I have had to be towed in 3 times in the last 18 months due to dead battery. Dealer said can not find anything that is draining it.

Maybe you just have a bad battery. Dead cell or two. Did they test it? Did they swap in a different battery or replace it? I would insist they do.

I'd say battery swap. Simplest and its easy to do. Buy a better one so you can think of it as an upgrade. These newer trucks don't seem to have the same quality of battery that they used to come with just a few years ago . If their is not parasitic drain Battery is likely

A short somewhere or bad alternator would be my guess. I mean a 2019 they should be fixing it or buying the truck back because they are incompetent.

Had my '19 since December with no issues. A bad or loose ground can cause an all kinds of problems.

Yes. We've been fighting this issue for over two months now. our vehicle has about 30,000 miles on it and the Dealer says the battery is fine; the charging system is fine.... something is wrong.
I've put more miles on the truck going back and forth to the dealer than anywhere else this year.
The latest theory the Dealer has is that the main Radio control module [which also controls the HVAC, etc] is bad and is causing the power drain. Waiting for the second new part since the first one they ordered was the wrong one.
We were working with the Dealer Service team to try and diagnose and fix the Main Computer screen [U Connect 12.0] has been having intermittent recurring problems with blank screen, or non responsive controls for as long as we have had it.

If you have a DC clamp-on ammeter clamp it to the positive battery lead and turn the truck off and let it sit for 30 minutes.

Check to see if you have a parasitic load that doesn’t disappear.

Go buy yourself and old school toaster style battery load testor and check the battery yourself. They aren't expensive and will test a batteries load capacity better then the new style battery tester that odds are the dealer is using.

My '19Laramie just sat i. Dealership for a month and a half. The batt light came on and had it tested, said alternator was bad got to the dealership and they couldn't figure it out they replaced battery alternator and the 48v generator ( e torque sys) and it finally seems to be charging fine. I've been back in my truck for a couple weeks now, I guess time will tell. Good luck guys!!!

Hey OP, what was the solution?

I have a 2019 Classic I bought six months ago and alt gauge always read about 2/3rds of the way to max. DTC screen will change modes by itself after shut off and service history shows battery replaced at dealer at 15K miles.

Now battery is dead again at 37K miles. I;m so pleased its just outside of warranty.
