Yesterday my 2014 R/T center cluster gave me a message telling me the battery in the remote was low. Seemed like a simple task to replace a battery. However, turned out to be a mystery to take the remote apart. I used a small flat blade screwdriver to pry the side apart and then there were what looked like small grooves in the plastic to take the inner shell apart. One 2032 battery and press it back together.
I did manage to set off the Panic alarm while putting it back together.
