Bed liners - tailgate too?

I have the stock drop-in bedliner but I'm probably going to do a spray in Line-X. Do you guys remove the plastic tailgate piece and spray that as well or keep it?

I'd take the entire drop in liner out. Tailgate piece and all. If you mean the cap on the top of the tailgate leave it alone.

I have spray in and the side rail and tailgate plastic remains I believe they removed rear one sprayed and then put back on.

good idea, that way I can keep the cup holders

My 16 came with the spray in bed liner. The tailgates is sprayed on.
