Best Mods for Under $100

I see 3 possible colors for mine: white (body color), gray (to match the gray in the door panels) or maroon-ish to match the accent color in my seat covers.

Not sure yet but it will be 1 of those 3 for sure.

Always hated the detailing of my mirrors so I ordered these off Amazon for $20-30 bucks. The 4-D, as they call it, carbon fiber hydro-dipping looks like real carbon fiber up close, we'll see how long they hold up to fading though. I'm looking at adding them to my door handles too.

They are solid covers with 3m tape on the inside backs, they fit like a glove too. Very impressed with the CF detail, you can actually see the individual fibers in the hydro-print, I actually thought they were real CF on my first examination, very deep 4D design.

FYI to make it easier to retrieve the tether before you take it off tie a string to it. Remove and keep tension on it with the string and tie off somewhere on the door!

Kind of surprising this is a mod that you have to do as oppose to being done OEM

Glad to see they smartened up

It's not screwed on. Wrap with electric tape and use a vise grip and work it off. Cut down the antenna then grid/file down the end so it fits perfectly. Simple diy project.
