If your Ram doesn't have nav, an aftermarket radio with car play/android auto is good so you can navigate without having to squint at your phone screen.

A used camper shell is typically pretty cheap (I paid $200 last time I bought one) and prep/paint is a good skill to practice if you don't find one in a good color to match or complement your truck. I know a lot has changed since I was in school but that's a really good time to get some travel in before you get burdened by all those responsibilities that come later, having somewhere to sleep for free is a big win for cheap weekenders.

Depend on what you're looking for. Less expensive things would be window tints, window vent visors, tonneau cover just to name a few. What did you have in mind

Seriously..... making sure you have a good safe set of tires, and good brakes.

Both will keep you out of trouble, and if you get in trouble, you'll be glad you have them.

Pick up a Ram Chilton Manual for your Ram at your local parts store.Being low on funds, you'll be doing most of the work yourself and this will give you some basics on how and where things are on a Ram.

There's no way on hell anyone would be picking up my daughter with a camper top. Not gonna happen. :biggun:

Ill add one more thing, not a mod, but maintenance. Make sure you run a good oil and filter, and keep up with all of the fluids and when to change them. I can tell you from personal experience, I learned this at an early age and you will find treat it right and it will treat you right.
