Hey y'all,
I change a lot of spark plugs between all my trucks and the small engines I service. I am tired of conventional spark plug sockets, the rubber rings never behave, they usually aren't deep enough. I know there's a lot of better ones out there, but can't make up my mind which one to buy. Any suggestions? What's your favorite?

The first time I changed plugs on my 4.7, I had nothing that would fit the hole on the upper plugs and picked up the thin walled snap-on S9706KMAG 5/8 magnetic and love it. Rather expensive, though, think it was near $60.

A couple years later @Wild one posted this one, which my little brother got for his hemi. Same one that @GeauxinUp posted above and it fits just as well.

I didn't have one of those plug sockets,a dozen years ago, when i still had a 4.7,and i ended up grinding down a socket to get it to fit, still got the socket, but the truck went down the road along time ago though, lol

Thanks, I'll have to try that gear wrench one. Like the price too!
They're a handy socket to have David. I also have a short little 1.5" extension, that stays plugged into my gearwrench socket, and between the 2,it makes changing plugs on most things a piece of cake, especially on a hemi.
The 1.5" extension brings it up above the valve covers far enough you don't gouge up a finger breaking the plugs loose ;)
