I have soft water where I wash my truck but that doesn't seem to work that we'll. The truck is black so it shows everything! I tried a wax product that you hook into the power washer and spray it on, leave for a few mins a day wash off. It was better than it would have been without it but still spots all over. I had to drive to the car wash in town and pay $4 to get their spotless rinse.

Anyone use a product that works well to provide a nice spotless finish? I'm looking for something to put on after I'm done washing the truck as a finisher. I had a white truck before this new one so this wasn't an issue! Lol

Thanks!

Same problem here. Super hard water and black truck. I have to dry with a microfiber towel after and then usually hit it with a waterless wash after to clean up whatever spots I miss.

I've had good results so far with Meguiars Ultimate wash and Wax Anywhere. Also seems to make bug removal easier on the next wash.

ONR is super popular for that but usually you still need a paint cleaner like ZAIO if you don't rinse with water. However, these work really good for 10 washes, and removable filters.

I had one of those Mr. Clean kits back in the day and it did work great for a spotless rinse. It's a shame they did stick around in the stores.

I dry mine with an absorber which leaves no water spots at all...if I do see a mark I missed, I just hit it with some quick detailer and its good to go.

Is it just a spray on and rub off with a towel product?

I think you will find if you wash your truck in the shade and if the paint surface is not hot, and you dry it right away after you wash it you will have less problems with water spots.
