Where can I buy those clear corner marker lenses?? I have amber now and I don't think they will look good with the black. How bad is it to paint the turn signal area?

You lose light output not that it really matters with a turn signal. And i dont know if you can buy just the clear marker i bought mine like that

Also, does it need to be painters tape, wouldn't it be okay with just like clear scotch tape?

Not too sure there. me personally i would use painters tape less sticky and less likely to peel **** off with it.

My dad just pointed out, I could use that 3m blue painters tape and stick it to my shirt and peel it off and it'll be less sticky

Wet sand, and polish will make that glassy.

Wet sand wasn't working for me!! I'd sand it the lightest bit and it would leave ridiculous amounts of scratches on it with soaking wet 2000 grit sandpaper but I will definitely polish when the other one is put on

Put a bit of dawn dish soap in your water while wet sanding
2000 grit will leave a haze and a good polish will make it shine
The one on the left is just wetsanded and the one on the right had a quick polish

And after a good bit of polishing

I probably shoulda left my reverse lights open. Oh well haha. So if I sand it, it's supposed to leave a haze? It's all clear and smooth now, I'm pretty sure if I just polish it, it should be good

Yeah see what I did was do the coats of night shades, 1 coat of clear then used the 2000 grit paper and took the stuff out then dried it then put on one more coat of clear. There maybe 1 or 2 spots where there is something left. For now I'm just gonna leave it like it is. I don't wanna take a chance on messing anything when I gotta use it tomorrow morning!!

Alright JJ! So I went outside and got all excited because I was gonna start blacking out my headlights but when I started looking at them, the passenger side headlight isn't attached to the frame!

So I thought oh this isn't a biggie ill just have to be careful not to mess anything up but then I look further into it and i see these cut off wires sticking out that I haven't seen in any of the write ups and I just said screw it I'm gonna buy some new ones soon. What could those wires be for?

Do you have a hitch or trailer light hookups? It could of been from a old wiring job
